Las Vegas Trade Shows 2026–2027: The Exhibitor’s Guide to Booth Rentals & Custom Exhibits

Las Vegas hosts more trade shows than any other city in the United States — over 20,000 conventions and nearly six million attendees a year. This guide covers every major Las Vegas exhibition show, what each venue allows, what a trade show booth rental in Las Vegas actually costs, and the timeline that keeps your build on schedule. Connect Exhibit designs, builds, installs and dismantles exhibits at all of them.

Why Las Vegas Is the Busiest Exhibition City in the US

No other US city concentrates this much exhibition space in one place. The Las Vegas Convention Center, Venetian Expo, Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Caesars Forum, Westgate and World Market Center add up to more than 12 million square feet of show floor within a fifteen-minute radius. Add 150,000+ hotel rooms and a direct-flight map covering most of the world, and buyers who would never travel to a regional show will fly in for a Vegas one.

That density is also why competition on the floor is brutal. At CES or SEMA your booth is one of thousands, and attendees make a stop-or-walk decision in about three seconds. A Las Vegas trade show display has to read from across the aisle: strong sightlines, bold overhead branding, clear product hierarchy and a genuine reason to step inside.

The operational side trips up more exhibitors than the design side. Every venue has its own rules for rigging, electrical, internet and material handling. Union labor governs installation. During peak weeks — CES in January, SEMA and PACK EXPO in November — labor is tight, drayage queues stretch, and the drive from a warehouse to the Strip can take an hour.

Working with a local Las Vegas exhibit company removes those variables. We build in-house, deliver on our own trucks, pre-assemble your booth before it ships, and handle union paperwork, drayage and fire marshal approvals so your team can focus on the meetings you flew in for.

Las Vegas Venue Rules Every Exhibitor Should Know

  • Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC)

4.6M sq ft across West, Central, North and South Halls. Island booths typically allow up to 20 ft height with hanging signs; inline booths cap at 8 ft back wall. Rigging orders and structural drawings are due roughly 30 days before move-in.

  • Venetian Expo & Sands Expo

2.25M sq ft on Levels 1–2 with attached hotel inventory. Freight elevator scheduling drives your move-in window, so modular exhibits install faster than crated custom builds.

  • Mandalay Bay Convention Center

2.1M sq ft, South Pacific and Bayside ballrooms. Popular for security and healthcare shows; ceiling heights vary by hall, so confirm rigging before finalising a double deck.

  • Caesars Forum & Westgate

Mid-size halls and ballrooms for association and finance events. Lighter rigging allowances make modular and portable exhibits the practical choice.

  • World Market Center

Permanent showroom campus for Las Vegas Market. Semi-permanent builds and year-round storage programs make the most sense here.

Height limits, signage rules and configuration requirements vary by show as well as by venue. Always confirm specifications with show management or your Connect Exhibit project manager before booking.

Las Vegas Trade Show FAQs

Which Las Vegas trade shows do you build booths for?

We design, build and install exhibits for every major Las Vegas exhibition — CES, NAB Show, SEMA, PACK EXPO, HIMSS, ISC West, World of Concrete, MAGIC, MJBizCon, NBAA-BACE, RE+, InfoComm, Black Hat, Cosmoprof and Las Vegas Market — plus association and corporate events at Caesars Forum and Westgate.

How much does a trade show booth rental cost in Las Vegas?

Turnkey Las Vegas booth rentals typically run $4,500–$12,000 for a 10x10, $9,000–$22,000 for a 10x20, $20,000–$48,000 for a 20x20 island and $95,000+ for large islands over 1,600 sq ft. Our quotes include design, fabrication, graphics, flooring, furniture, AV, round-trip shipping, installation and dismantle in one fixed price.

How far in advance should I book for CES or SEMA?

Book six to nine months ahead for CES, NAB and SEMA. Rigging slots, hanging-sign approvals and union labor are the constraints, not fabrication. For smaller shows, three to four months is usually enough, and we regularly deliver rush builds in four to six weeks.

Do you handle union labor, drayage and fire marshal approvals?

Yes. As a Las Vegas exhibit company we manage union I&D labor, drayage and material handling, electrical and rigging orders, structural drawings and fire marshal submissions. Show services are billed at the contractor's direct cost with no markup.

Is renting a booth cheaper than buying one for Las Vegas shows?

For one to three shows a year, renting is usually 40–60% cheaper because you avoid ownership, refurbishment and year-round storage costs. If you exhibit at five or more shows annually with the same footprint, a custom purchase with a storage program often wins.

Can you refresh graphics between Las Vegas shows?

Yes. Our modular systems let you keep the structure and reprint graphics between shows, which is the fastest way to run CES in January and a spring show like NAB or ISC West on one exhibit investment.
